Xenophon A.
Beake holds the degrees of Master of Photography and Photographic
Craftsman from the Professional Photographers of America Inc. His
commercial work has won him many photographic awards with several in
Masters Loan Collections. His work has been published in many newspapers
and magazines all over the world. Many of his photographs are used in
brochures, point of purchase displays, web sites, church publications,
local, regional and national newspapers.
Among some of the magazines and publications that
have published Xenophon’ s images include: Time Magazine, US. News & World
Reports, Studio Light Magazine {Eastman Kodak Publication}, Large
Format Photography, Large Format Photography, {Kodak} Color Printing
Techniques, {Kodak} Hasselblad Magazine, The Professional Photographer,
Lens Magazine, Rangefinder Magazine, TV Guide and many more.
Xenophon
produced a series of thirty photographs as part of the United States
Library of Congress 200th anniversary “Local Legacies” project. Xenophon
has been photographing automobiles for collectors, restorers and
publications for over four decades with images being published in Hot Rod,
Car Craft Magazine and many others. Xenophon has 35 years of lecturing
experience in both traditional and digital capture photography.
